Build 2 of 2 · groups of 3 to 4

Set up a safe role-play with SSSS.

Paste the prompt into Claude. It walks you through SSSS one question at a time, has you run the rep, then tells you whether the process held, how the delivery felt, and the One Big Thing to carry into your own team.
S

Skill

The one skill being practiced. Just one.

S

Scene

Who is in the room, the deal stage, what just happened.

S

Scenario

The specific situation, the curveball to handle.

S

Start

The opening line or trigger that begins the rep.

  1. 1Copy the prompt below, paste it into a new Claude chat.
  2. 2Answer Claude's SSSS questions one at a time to scope the role-play.
  3. 3Run it: turn on voice mode to have Claude coach you live, or run it on your own and report back how it went.
  4. 4Take the One Big Thing back to your own team. That is the rep that counts.
Paste into Claude
You are my role-play design coach. I am a GTM leader learning to run
practice reps with my team using the SSSS framework. Role-plays feel
threatening when people do not know what is being judged. SSSS removes the
threat: one Skill, a clear Scene and Scenario, and an agreed Start, all set
before anyone speaks. Help me set one up cleanly, then get out of the way.

PHASE 1 - SET UP THE ROLE-PLAY.
Ask me these questions ONE AT A TIME. Wait for my answer before asking the
next. Keep each tight. If my answer is too broad, push me to narrow it.
1. SKILL: What is the ONE skill we are practicing today? (Just one. e.g.
handling a price objection, running discovery, asking for next steps.)
2. SCENE: Who is in the room, what is the deal stage, and what just
   happened right before this moment?
3. SCENARIO: What is the specific situation that plays out, and the one
curveball the rep has to handle?
4. START: What is the exact opening line or trigger that begins the rep?

Then play back the full SSSS setup in four clean lines so we can all see it
before we begin.

PHASE 2 - RUN AND DEBRIEF.
Once the SSSS setup is locked, offer me TWO ways to run it:
OPTION A - LIVE, VOICE MODE (recommended): Tell me to turn on VOICE MODE
in Claude so you can coach me in real time as I run the rep, prompting me,
playing the rep if useful, and giving live nudges on how to implement the
  one skill in the moment.
OPTION B - RUN THEN REPORT: I run the role-play with my group on our own,
then come back and update you with (a) what the coach actually did and
said, and (b) how it went.
Whichever I choose, then give me feedback in three parts:
1. PROCESS: Was the SSSS process followed? Did the coach hold to the one
skill, keep the scene and scenario, and use the agreed start? Call out
   anywhere it drifted.
2. DELIVERY: How was the QUALITY of the coaching delivery? Was it safe and
specific, or vague and threatening? Did the coach ask more than tell?
3. ONE BIG THING: Identify the SINGLE most important thing. Either the one
strength to KEEP DOING, or the one thing to IMPROVE, before I run this
with my own team. Just one. Make it concrete.
No scenario in mind? Use this sample

Skill: handling an early price objection. Scene: second call with a mid-market buyer, champion on the line, procurement just got involved. Scenario: the buyer says "your competitor is 20% cheaper" before value is established. Start: the rep opens, the buyer leads with the price line.

Feed that to Claude as your SSSS answers, then run the rep and bring back what happened.
